Ketamine (known as Special K) is a powerful anaesthetic drug which is used for operations on humans and animals. Ketamine is supplied as a liquid in its pharmaceutical state for injecting or as a tablet, taken orally. Powder forms of the drug and sniffed, ingested or smoked.
