Set in an historic home in central Tucson, Arizona, against a backdrop of breathtaking mountain views, Casa de Palmas is a new, affordable treatment option for women struggling to recover from drug and alcohol dependence. Casa de Palmas is a center for women who need either residential or quasi-residential treatment for substance-use disorders, and for whom high-priced drug rehabilitation facilities are not an option. Whereas other locations charge between $40,000 and $65,000 per month, we at Casa have chosen to offer services that are affordable to the ordinary, middle income woman.
The drug treatment services at Casa de Palmas are based on our philosophy of recovery with respect. Each woman who comes to us for help is a unique individual with her own experiences and treatment requirements. Along with a treatment plan carefully designed to serve her physical, emotional and spiritual needs, she receives our utmost compassion and respect.
Since 1970, The Haven, our non-profit center in Tucson, Arizona has provided state-of-the-art, individualized treatment for women suffering from substance-use disorders. Now, at Casa de Palmas, we can offer drug rehabilitation services to even more women. Women (who could not previously afford treatment) now need not worry - they can come to Casa de Palmas.
Classes include: Relapse Prevention, Anger Management, Self Esteem, Creative Expressions, and we also offer AfterCare. Integrative therapies offered by Casa de Palmas include acudetox, aromatherapy, psychodrama, kundalini yoga, drumming, meditation, shamanic and indigenous therapies, guided visualizations, and Chi Qigong
