Chapman House was founded in 1978. We are a State Licensed and Certified Drug Treatment Program and are leaders in addressing alcohol, substance abuse and related problems. We pride ourselves with preparing our patients to deal with day-to-day emotional and other co-occurring issues. The Chapman House Inpatient Drug Rehab is completely confidential. We have been the program of choice for people who insist on the finest treatment available in the country yet, with fees reasonable enough to receive such treatment. Chapman House has worked with everyone from students to celebrities. Chapman House accepts both men and women over the age of 18 who suffer from Alcoholism, Chemical Addiction, Sexual Addiction, Eating Disorders or other Psychological Issues. Chapman House is CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Residential Facilities) accredited which places our quality of care in the top 1% in the nation. We offer a comprehensive four phased approach to treatment.
Phase One: Assessment, Intervention and Intake
This critical stage is focused on accurately identifying not only the level of addition but also the co-occurring emotional and psychological issues that are the underlying cause of the addiction. This is revered to as a dual diagnosis. Based on the initial assessment, a personalized treatment plan is prescribed that utilizes over 20 different treatment alternatives at our disposal. For those not willing to voluntarily enter treatment, we dispatch a trained interventionist to convince the person in question to enter treatment. We have a track record of being successful 96% of the time.
Phase Two: In-Residence Detoxification & Stabilization
For individuals with severe addiction problems, detoxification and stabilization is required before joining an In-Residence treatment program. Detoxification is performed under the supervision of a licensed physician . Medications are prescribed to help lessen the difficulty and length of the detoxification. Once detoxified, the individual enters residential treatment.
Phase Three: Residential Treatment
Each individual is provided a unique treatment plan specifically tailored to address their specific needs. We believe that no single therapy will be effective for all people and we therefore bring a variety of treatment alternatives to bear. In-Residence treatment typically lasts 30 - 90 days. Treatment is combined with recreational activities, instruction in how to change limiting beliefs and community activities that provide the opportunity to give back.
Phase Four: Continuing Care
Outpatient continuing care involves one-on-one and group therapy sessions 1-5 times per week to help minimize the chance of a relapse. This continuing care focuses on any lingering issues still unresolved after residential care. Anyone referred to Chapman House by a therapist will be referred back to the therapist with an aftercare follow-up plan.
Summary:
Over the course of thirty years, Chapman house has developed some of the most successful programs and therapies in the nation. We firmly believe that no single therapy will cure everyone's substance abuse and its co-occurring issues. After successfully treating thousands of patients, Chapman House has earned the trust of families, the justice system, community agencies, insurance companies and many other organizations. Chapman House is dedicated to serving our patients with dignity and respect. We are committed to helping people grasp the tools necessary to live productive and healthy lifestyles.
