The Bridge to Recovery is mid to long-term residential treatment facility located in South Central Kentucky. Our 35 year old program has been built on a solid foundation of core content that serves the needs of our clients with dignity and respect. We offer a comprehensive and interactive psycho-educational program for people who suffer from a wide range of issues that can hinder one's personal development, interpersonal relationships and
vocational effectiveness. These issues include but are not limited to codependence, post traumatic stress due to childhood abuse or tragedy, situational depression, self-loathing behaviors, poor relationship skills and addictions to a wide range of substances and processes.

Participants in our program begin an in-depth recovery process that explores several key issues including: 1) repressed anger 2) unresolved grief 3) induced interpersonal shame 4) lack of adult coping skills 5) lack of self esteem 6) lack of boundaries 7) self victimization and 8) a general inability to practice healthy self care. The end results of this program include the acquisition of knowledge, skills and tools needed to live or resume living successful and productive lives.
In addition to the interactive lectures, our program at The Bridge to Recovery uses a wide range of treatment modalities including: psychodrama, art and other expressive therapies, equine assisted therapy, outdoor recreation, cathartic therapy, personal narrative work, anger work, shame reduction work, grief work, 12 Step work and experiential inner child work.
Participants in our program are thoroughly introduced to an in-depth recovery process that explores several key issues including: 1) repressed anger 2) unresolved grief 3) induced interpersonal shame 4) lack of adult coping skills 5) lack of self esteem 6) lack of boundaries 7) self victimization and 8) a general inability to practice healthy self care.
